The Warning Messages function allows you to create standard messages that can later be associated with an equipment rental item and printed on the contract. To add the Warning Message to an equipment item, go to Equipment Maintenance. You can also create and manage Warning Messages from Equipment Maintenance.
The Warning Messages function can be accessed from:
Equipment Center- File
Message #. Select the message number from the drop-down box. You can select a number that already has an error message to change the message or select a number labeled “Unused” to create a new error message.
Text. Enter the error message you want associated with the number you selected.
Select OK once you have finished editing the error message. Your new message will now be associated with that number and will appear in a drop-down box when you are selecting error messages to put on a contract.
